Aida Yrysbekova is a Junior Developer at Custom House Technology Consultants. She is a participant on the Navigating the Workforce After Coding Bootcamps panel.

  • Why is speaking at WITS important to you?

I want to spread to as many people as possible that it doesn’t matter what gender, ethnicity, background you have as long as you have courage and willingness, you can take The Tech World. Just like I did heard success stories of other women landing dream jobs at tech companies.

  • What inspires you?

My inspiration is my family without them working in tech would still be in my dreams. They always push me to be better.

  • Most useful article you’ve read in the last month

I read many useful articles and it’s hard to choose one. My go to website to ready many interesting articles is medium.com

  • When you were a kid what was your dream job?

Kids have very different imagination of becoming what they want and yes sometimes it’s ridiculous thing. One thing I learned from my kids it that they don’t want to become fire fighter, policeman or princess just for salary. They want to do something that they enjoy something that is useful to them. Well my ridiculous dream was to become a dancer or flight attendant. In both cases I would be traveling the world and learning about new cultures.

  • A quote about your session

Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.

Register here to see Aida at WITS Northeast in Philadelphia on April 23 & 24.
