Why is speaking at WITS important to you?
I personally feel that the more we share, the more we learn. At an event like WITS, where we can meet the top women leaders in technology and exchange our ideas is amazing. Also, not a lot of people actually know what performance engineering really entails and many treat it like an unknown variable. I want to break that notion and one of the ways is to propogate the knowledge gained over several years.
Also, WITS is one of the few places which encourages women to come forward and share their knowledge in a typical male dominated industry. I strongly believe that women are essential to the workforce and given the right opportunities, can progress as much as men can. Events like WITS ensure that.
What inspires you?
The idea of trying to create a better world for my son inspires me. Each and every day inspires me as every day brings along with it immense potential to grow, avenues to learn. Amongst people, Miachel Schumacher (F1 champion) inspires me.

When you were a kid what was your dream job?
This changed everytime I saw something cool. I started off wanting to become an archaeologist, a cardiac surgeon, a robotics engineer and finally a software engineer.
