Why is speaking at WITS important to you?

I’m excited to speak at WITS so that I can contribute to this community of women leaders in tech. I’m looking forward to all the great conversations and learning opportunities that will come from participating in the summit.

What inspires you?

I’m motivated by understanding how people create, respond to, and use technology. When we understand these things, we can create technology that helps to facilitate a better world.

When you were a kid what was your dream job?

As a kid, I wanted to be everything from an atmospheric scientist to a singer. Through twists and turns, I found my way from music to sociology and then to tech.
