- Why is speaking at WITS important to you?
I have found that it’s so important for those of us with knowledge to share that knowledge in an effort to advance the abilities of all in the field. My particular focus in connecting with participants through WITS is because the women in the group are our changemakers, leaders, and decision-makers in technology. I think all of us, working together, informing each other, and sharing our resources and skills, will truly make a measurable difference through our collective efforts.
- What inspires you?
I’m currently interested in learning as much as possible about diversity, equity, and inclusion resources, and am inspired by many of the informational posts that came out of recent Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and #discoverourglory threads.
- When you were a kid what was your dream job?
When I was younger, my dream job was to be a doctor and use my medical skills to help people. I actually had the opportunity to work at the Los Angeles Free Clinic for a full year as a community health worker, and also to volunteer at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital emergency room on Friday and Saturday nights, and I realized that this career was not a perfect fit for me. Now I get to be a web developer, using my tech skills to help people!

Our time is our most precious resource, and my hope is you’ll be able to pre-seed some of your content and use automation tools to maintain a digital presence that reaches your target audience in an effective and efficient manner, so you gain back your time.
