Why is speaking at WITS important to you?
We, as tech women, need to pull each other up. I feel that, as leaders, we have a responsibility to turn around, pull other women up, and lead the way. That’s exactly why I travel long distance to speak at all the WITS events!
What inspires you?
What pulls me forward are the stories of REAL transformation that come out of my talks! It’s one thing to stand on the stage and speak, but it’s entirely another thing to spark true, measurable transformation in REAL women’s lives. And that’s what drives me forward to keep going and going!

When you were a kid what was your dream job?
I wanted to be an architect because it married math and art — engineering and design. I didn’t land too far off … as a software engineer, I architect software!
