Why is speaking at WITS important to you? As a highly talented, yet still underrepresented group within tech, women deserve support, opportunities, and community as they pursue flourishing in tech careers.
· What or who inspires you? Women who pursue building their lives and work with purpose, passion, and clarity and who lift as they climb continually inspire me.
· Most useful article you’ve read in the last month. Ruchika Tulshyan and Jodi-Ann Burey’s HBR piece, “Stop Telling Women They Have Impostor Syndrome” is a game-changing read for all women, especially women working in tech and other fields where women have historically been underrepresented. Their piece does a fantastic job explaining why what we think of as individual feelings of not being enough are actually reflective of organizational cultures that were designed to exclude women and especially women of color. An absolute must read.
· When you were a kid what was your dream job? Marine biologist.
