Ines Ramirez is a Product and Program Manager. She is co-presenting a session at the WITS Spring 2024 Summit on “Getting the Most Out of Your Mentorship”.

  • Why is speaking at WITS important to you?

I am a firm believer in the power of empowerment through community. I am thrilled to be speaking at WITS & to connect with other like-minded female & non-binary technologists through the session.

  • What or who inspires you?

I am inspired by the women on whose shoulders we stand on, and I am inspired by the younger version of ourselves that thought she/they could only dream of how far we’ve each come.

  • Most useful article you’ve read in the last month

I love to read the daily newsletter from the Daily Stoic as it grounds me before I begin my day.

  • When you were a kid what was your dream job?

I’m not sure I had a dream job per say, but I did boss my younger sister around enough to know I wanted to be a leader!

  • Tell us something about your session

The exciting part about our session is that it’s intended for a wide audience — whether you’ve been a mentor/mentee for many years or are just getting started, there’s something for everyone to learn from our discussion. I especially love the Q&A portion because it reminds us that many of us have the same questions, concerns, and fears around engaging in a mentorship. However, with a little encouragement and the right tools, we can all experience the rich & fruitful relationship that is mentorship.

  • What other sessions or speakers are you most excited to see?

I am most excited to see Brenda Darden Wilkerson because of the impact that AnitaB has had on my professional & personal growth.
