Why is speaking at WITS important to you?
Two colleagues whom I greatly admire have spoken previously at WITS. This time, the focus on career and professional development caught my eye. Yes, that’s my wheelhouse!
In my workshop, I discuss my professional career missteps at two Fortune 200 companies, my tech exec clients’ successes, and industry research on how you can “sizzle” in your career.
· What or who inspires you?
I’m in the 6th year of my global travel buck list. My husband and I go on sabbatical 2x a year outside the U.S. to immerse in the local culture. I’m off to Spain this week, spending 1 week in Sevilla and then 3 weeks on the beach in Torremolinos. My best friend’s husband call me Dora-the-Explorer. I travel on my stomach.

It’s impossible to pick one. I’m an avid fan of Statista and read the daily feed.
· When you were a kid what was your dream job?
I teetered between being an attorney or a journalist. I’m neither; hence, the reason for this workshop focused on a career plan.
· Tell us something about your session.
My topic inspiration came from all things a Peloton exercise bike advertisement whereby you’re required to suspend belief to see the instructor motivating a group of Vikings. It makes me smile every time I hear “sizzle baby!”
